About Us

Situated on the North Norfolk coast road within sight of the sea, West Runton has many hidden delights with the bowls club being one of them. Adjacent to the Cromer bound bus stop you will cross our car park to the steps leading down to the Bowling Green. Our players come from far and near for the friendship with a game of bowls, plus coffee, tea and biscuit during the half time break.

If you are new to, or wish to try bowls please be assured that club members will give you all the support and training you need. We have a selection of different sized and weight bowls and smooth soled shoes available and your first session is free. If you don’t wish to play you are very welcome to come and watch, have a chat with fellow watchers or just spend some time in a very pleasant, friendly environment. We have a clubhouse, or you can sit in the sun or under the shelter to change shoes and talk of games won and lost. The bowls green is placed nicely back from the road yet near enough to the sea to smell the salt air.
